My Buddy Says..............

My Buddy to the left says I should be writing at least Two articles a week.

Well Piker, let this count for one of them.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH

YA, you know who you are.

Leave The Politics At Home Barbara

The following is courtesy of the Miami Herald

"Barbara Streisand's politics didn't find a wholly agreeable crowd during her Monday concert at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise.
As Babs traded political barbs with a George W. Bush imitator, a fan of the songstress who apparently disagreed with her politics pelted her with a beverage. And as her anti-GOP riff ended, another man in the crowd found himself being escorted out of the center as he shouted at Streisand.
Streisand shrugged both incidents off, saying some people would do better to buy her records than come to her shows.
A similar scenario unfolded during Streisand's concert earlier this month at Madison Square Garden in New York, during which the singer used the F-word in shouting down a heckler."

You know what Babs, leave the politics at home Wench. When people are paying in the neighborhood of $300 - $400 per ticket, they sure as hell don't do so to hear you spout off about your stance in the political spectrum. They pay to be entertained and hear you sing.

In future, do us all a favor and save your shite political tub thumping for AFTER the tour.

THANKS

2006 Japanese Grand Prix

ALONSO MAKES GOOD ON A RARE FERRARI ENGINE FAILURE

One must go back to 2000 and the French Grand Prix ( 112 races ago ) to witness Schumacher having an engine failure. Unfortunately, another one happened today in Japan with about 17 laps to go and it all but scuttled Michaels chances of winning an Eighth World Championship.

Now, for Michael to win the Championship he must win the final race in Brazil in two weeks and Alonso must not finish in the points or have a DNF which would mean they both tie in points at 126 each. Michael would then win the Championship because he would have one more win than Alonso. As witnessed in Japan today, anything can happen. And I only hope that it does.

Although Alonso did drive the wheels off his Renault today just to get into second place, it is clear that he was no match for the Ferrari of Mike. It is a shame to come so close and lose to a blown engine, but that is part of racing.

Here's to Mike and the Ferrari Team in the hopes that it all goes their way in Brazil.

Dollar Increases as Jobs Report Suggests Strength in Economy

WELL WELL WELL,.........

What a bunch of contrived crap, the USD gains on news of one of the lowest Non Farm Payroll numbers ever. All because the bean counters at some Government Office decided it would be a good idea to revise the numbers over the last year. Read the small excerpt from Bloomberg below

"The report also showed job growth during the 12 months ended in March may have been about 45 percent higher than previously reported. In a preliminary estimate, the Labor Department said payrolls for the 12 months ended in March 2006 will be revised higher by 810,000, the biggest revision since the Labor Department started benchmarking numbers in 1991."

Now, What gets me is this.........Every time a report comes out these "magicians" seem to find extra this and extra that.
Does it not strike you funny that this is the biggest revision since they started benchmarking these numbers, and oh ya, the Mid-Term Elections are now 5 weeks away?

Not to mention the fact that the Unemployment Rate Magically dropped to 4.6%.
How do you get 4.6% when the number that came out today for Non Farm was a dismal 51,000?
What they are saying is that although we created practically no jobs last month we found a few extra 800,000 lying around so the unemployment rate actually went down.

F'in Liars.......every one of them.
Now read below this next excerpt from Bloomberg and you'll be able to tell that they (Government) are just spinning shite so they get good election results.

" More than three times as many chief executive officers expect business to worsen in the next six months than to improve, according to a survey by the Business Council issued yesterday. Most CEOs expect the pace of hiring to decline or remain stable as their focus shifts to cutting costs, the survey found. The Business Council is an invitation-only group of CEOs from Fortune 500 companies."

The picture for the USD in the coming year is Dismal at best. Anyone thinking the Fed is going to raise rates again is just not thinking.

2006 Chinese Grand Prix

The following is courtesy of Formula1.com.

"You might have a job persuading Renault that they came out well from China, when Fernando Alonso lost what at one stage seemed a sure-fire victory. But second and third places, allied to Felipe Massa's non-finish for Ferrari, put the blue team back on top of the constructors championship points table by a point from Ferrari, 179 to 178.
It was, however, a disappointing day. Alonso roared away when the track was at its wettest in the early stages, but needed then to change the front Michelins in his pit stop. The failure of the tyres to 'come on' quickly enough as the level of dampness decreased was a key factor in Giancarlo Fisichella and Michael Schumacher hauling him in and eventually overtaking, after which Renault pulled Alonso in early, on lap 35, to switch to dries. That should have helped, but when the right rear wheel nut fell out of the securing gun he lost a further 13 seconds. Alonso said afterwards that this did not really affect his race and that the loss due to the tyre problem was the worst aspect, but it surely didn't help."

Did not really affect his race??????
Was he high??????
Of course it affected his race. What a dick. This punk must really think he's the King.

But, if you look closely at the photo of him, ya that's it, look reeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllll close.
You can see the tears welling up in his right eye as he wonders where the hell his glorious season disappeared too. He and the Renault team have been tossing it away with Gay abandon since the start of the Indianapolis weekend, that's where it went. They single handedly squandered it.

Just for doing that they do not deserve to win any championships at all. It will be very nice to see Mr. Schumacher end his storied career with an unprecedented and Record Breaking Eighth World Championship Victory in Brazil.

Well done Schumi, Well done Ferrari.
