Massa Heads Stellar Ferrari 1-2 In Turkey.

Felipe Massa Yesterday gave another textbook demonstration of what a start to finish victory should look like. It was very nice to see the Scuderia back on form and not be under any threat from McLaren whatsoever. I was disappointed to Lewis’ right front tire blow out, but at least he got some points and still leads the Championship. I also heard Gerald Donaldson commenting on the Alonslow fiasco, and it would seem that some senior management at McLaren were quite candid by telling Gerald that they wish Alonso would shut the F up and just drive. I couldn’t agree more, this kid is nothing but a big prissy boy wanting everything handed to him. If he keeps slagging his team in public no other team will want to touch him and his career will be over. So, in a way I hope he keeps it up.

In other news McLaren still has two appeal dates looming and that could mean big trouble if they are found guilty. Stay tuned for the result because it will all be sorted within the next couple of weeks.

See you all in Italy on the 9th of September for what is for sure to be another Ferrari 1-2 with Lewis finishing 3rd.

Lane Obstructing Pedal Bike Jagoffs

I am reposting an article that I posted a year ago because it needs saying again.
Bicycles should not be classified as a vehicle for the road. Plain and simple. When driving to work again this morning, about twenty of us had our time wasted going up Pharmacy because of one guy on a bike driving in the middle of the lane. Consequently it took near 3 1/2 minutes to get by this idiot.
Approximately 70,000 motor-vehicle collisions are reported each year in Toronto. Although bicycles are involved in less than 2 per cent of these (around 1,200 per year), cyclists account for over 6 per cent of the city's traffic-related injuries. – This was taken from Toronto’s website and I gotta tell ya, I’m getting very tired of the cyclist’s taking up the road space they do. Even though they are classified as a vehicle on the road, ( A bicycle is a vehicle under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act (HTA). This means that, as a cyclist, you have the same rights and responsibilities to obey all traffic laws as other road users. ) they do nothing but slow everyone down. I say put ‘em on the sidewalk like everyone else and free up the roads for the Real vehicles. I also say that if they are classified as a vehicle, then they should be regulated as such, and any bike not up to standards such as having working lights and reflective equipment should be ticketed, same goes for disobeying the rules of the road. How many times have you encountered a traffic jam only to see five minutes later that the cause of the tie up is two cyclists traveling side by side who figure they have every right to take the entire lane for their 20 km/h joyride because “we are classified as a vehicle”. Bullshite, Put ‘em on the sidewalk I say, put ‘em on the sidewalk. I tell you, they might be able to stop on a dime and make sharp turns, but they are no match for a 3000 lb vehicle moving at 35 km/h or more, that’s for damn sure. Jagoff time wasting cyclists.

Hamilton Wins Hungary Without A Problem.

Mid way through the summer break I figured now would be a good time to make a short comment on the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton won it with no problem, and rightfully so, considering he was faster than Alonslow all through qualifying. The beef is that Alonslack Prissy Boy couldn't stand that Lewis wouldn't let him by in Q3 like he was supposed to do, so he pulled the delay stunt on the final pit stop and shut Lewis out of his final hot lap.
The good thing was that the stewards of the race were on the ball and penalized him with fifth on the grid and all the team points from the weekend including Hamilton's. So now, Ron et al have two court dates to attend in September. Way to go McLaren. And Alonso, you brought the second offence on all by yourself.
See you all after the break in Turkey.
Ciao

Response To Comment On McLaren Article

If Ron or McLaren actually did something wrong ... other than operate a professional racing team that is the envy of the rest of the motor sports world (otherwise why would one of the Ferrari boys be trying to get out of his shitty team and onto McLaren so badly. I think the truth speaks for itself.Viva Scuderia McLaren !!!!See you on the top of the sport at the end of the year again Ron .... Where you belong! T as in TruTh
The above statement was put forth by one of my friends in the comment section in response to my article of 26th July 2007.

I will now respond to the anfractuous comments made because it just needs doing.

T., I don’t know where the hell you’ve been lately or where you get your information from but McLaren actually DID do something wrong. And in doing so they became very unprofessional. Please read the excerpt from the FIA WMSC press release of 26th July 2007.

“The WMSC is satisfied that Vodafone McLaren Mercedes was in possession of confidential Ferrari information and is therefore in breach of article 151c of the International Sporting Code.”

Go on…read it again, and then read it one more time after that, because you need to get it straight my son. McLaren were found GUILTY.
The fact that they got no punishment is a mockery of justice. You know damn well that if it were the other way around Ferrari would have been disqualified from the rest of the season. The only reason McLaren weren’t is because of a young kid named Hamilton. Plain and simple.
You have stated many times over the years that Ferrari has “bought” Championship after Championship as well as other things. I would think that McLaren made a very large purchase last week, only thing is, is that they forgot to check the kill date because it was bad. Now it will go to appeal and they will be punished accordingly.

You also state that Stepney was trying to defect over to McLaren. WRONG AGAIN as usual dude. I really wish you would take off the weed coloured glasses you wear so much. You might end up seeing the real story for once, not the story you wish for from that Δ9-THC haze you’re used to peering through. The real story is that Stepney and Coughlan tried to approach another team and it failed, they were both turned away.

I’m astonished at your lack of knowledge on this matter as you (and the novices of the sport) like to think of yourselves as quite the aficionados.

I’m seriously beginning to doubt that dude.
Here endeth another lesson.

See you at the track.
